Welcome to Carmel Shobha, a sacred space dedicated to nurturing the spiritual lives of Telugu-speaking Christians through the rich traditions of biblical reflection and Carmelite spirituality.
This blog is run by Fr. Amruth Raju OCD, a carmelite Priest, belonging to the Discalced Carmelite Order. The order dedicated for prayer and contemplation in the Church. He studied spirituality and specialised in carmelite spirituality. He worked as Novice Master, Master of the theology students and as formator of Intermediate Students. He is known for giving retreats and spiritual guidence. He worked as provincial of his Province.
