మొదటిపఠనం: దేవుడుతానున్యాయంమరియుదయగలదేవుడిగాచూపిస్తున్నాడు.

దేవుడు తన ప్రజలు పశ్చాత్తాపపడాలని ఎదురు చూస్తున్నాడు, దేవుడు తన ప్రజలు నీతిగా జీవించాలని కోరుకుంటాడు. దేవుడు తన ప్రజలకు నీతిమంతమైన జీవితాన్ని గడపడానికి స్వేచ్ఛనిచ్చాడు.

మళ్లీమళ్లీ పాపంచేయడం మరియు తప్పుచేయడం మానవత్వం, దయ మరియు క్షమించడం దైవత్వం. అని మొదటిపఠనం వివరిస్తుంది. దేవుడు న్యాయమైన మరియు దయగలతండ్రి, అతను ప్రతిఒక్కరినీ సమానంగా చూస్తాడు. ఆయన మనందరికీ రక్షణపొందే అవకాశాన్ని కల్పిస్తాడు. మరియు ఎవరైనా దేవునిశక్తిని అనుమానించినప్పుడు, దేవునిశక్తి వివిధమార్గాల్లో ప్రజలకు చూపబడుతుంది. మానవులనుఖండించడానికిదేవునికిఅధికారంఉంది, కానీ ఆయన ఇంకా మనల్ని ఓపికగా భరిస్తున్నాడు.

Vs.19. దేవుడు తన ప్రజలు పశ్చాత్తాపపడుటకు వేచియుండుట మరియు ఆయన వారిని క్షమించుట మనము చూస్తాము. అలాగే దేవుడు మనలను కూడా తానుచేసినట్లుగా, ఒకరినొకరు క్షమించాలని కోరుకుంటున్నాడు. తన ప్రజలు నీతిగా జీవించాలని ఆయన కోరుకుంటాడు. దయ మరియు క్షమాపణవంటి దేవుని లక్షణాలను కలిగి ఉండమని ఆయన మనలను ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాడు.

మంచిచేసేవారు దేవుని బిడ్డలని మరియు చెడుచేసేవారు సాతాను బిడ్డలని తెలియచేస్తున్నారు .

కావున దేవుడు మనలను తన మంచిబిడ్డలుగా ఉండమనికోరుచున్నాడు. 

 

కీర్తన: 86:5-6,9-10,15-16 : ఇది దయకోసం దేవునికి ప్రార్థన.

 

రెండవ పఠనం: ఆత్మ మనకొరకు దేవునితో విజ్ఞాపన చేస్తుంది.

స్వభావరీత్యా మానవులు బలహీనులు, పాపంవైపు సులభంగా పడిపోతారు. మనము తరచుగా పాపపుఉచ్చులో పడిపోతాము, మన సోదరులను ప్రేమించడంలో విఫలమవుతాము, ఇతరులను క్షమించడంలో విఫలమవుతాము, మరొకరి అవసరంలో మనం కనికరంచూపడంలో విఫలమవుతాము.

కానీ ఆత్మ అలాంటి వారందరికీ సహాయం చేయడానికి మరియు అవసరమైనది చేయడానికి సహకరిస్తుంది అని పునీత పౌలుగారు చెపుతున్నారు. ఆత్మమనలోఉంది, మన తరపున తండ్రికి విజ్ఞప్తి చేస్తుంది మరియు దేవుణ్ణి తండ్రి అని సంభోదించుటకు వీలు కల్పిస్తుంది. కాబట్టి మానవులుగా మనం శరీరానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా, మన కోరికలు మరియు స్వార్థపూరిత వైఖరితో పోరాడుతామని పౌలుగారు చెపుతున్నారు. మనం యేసు ద్వారా మనతండ్రికి ప్రార్థిస్తున్నప్పుడు ఆత్మ నిజానికి మనలో మూలుగుతూ ఉంటుంది. మరియు యేసుక్రీస్తుద్వారా మనం ప్రార్థనలో ఏది అడిగినా తండ్రి అయిన దేవుడు మనకు సమాధానం ఇస్తాడు లేదా దయచేస్తాడు అని పునీత పౌలుగారు చెపుతున్నారు.

సువిశేషం:ఈ సువార్తపఠనం గత ఆదివారం యేసు చేసిన ప్రసంగం యొక్క కొనసాగింపు.

నేటి సువార్తలో, యేసు పరలోక రాజ్యం గురించి వివరించడానికి మూడు ఉపమానాలు చెప్పాడు. యేసు జన సమూహంతో ఉపమానాలుగా ఎందుకు మాట్లాడతాడో మరియు శిష్యులకు విత్తువాడు యొక్క ఉపమానాన్ని ఎందుకు వివరించాడో కూడా తెలియచేస్తుంది.

మొదటి ఉపమానం పరలోకరాజ్యం “విత్తువాడు” (దేవుడు)తో పోల్చబడిందని చెబుతుంది. మరియు పొలమును ప్రపంచం తోపోల్చారు, మరియు మంచి విత్తనాలను గోధుమలతో (దేవునిబిడ్డలుగా) మరియు చెడువిత్తనాలను కలుపు మొక్కలతో (సాతానుబిడ్డలుగా) శత్రువును (చెడు)గా పోల్చారు.

ఇక్కడ, విత్తువాడు కలుపు విత్తనాలను పొలములో చల్లెనా?

లేదు. కానీ ఒక శత్రువు అసూయతో అలాచేశాడు.

దేవుడుచెడ్డవారినిసృష్టించాడా?

లేదు. కానీ దుర్మార్గుడు సాతాను చెడును మంచిదని చూపించడం ద్వారాప్రజలను ప్రలోభపెట్టడం లేదా ప్రజలను పాపపు మార్గాన నడిపిస్తున్నాడు .ప్రజలు చెడు వైపు ఎందుకు మొగ్గుచూపుతారు,  ఎందుకంటే

-చెడు ఆకర్షణీయంగా ఉంటుంది.

- చెడు ప్రలోభపెడుతుంది.

- చెడు అందంగా కనిపిస్తుంది.

-చెడు మంచివలె నటిస్తుంది.

సుఖాలు, శక్తి,  లేదా సంపద మొదలైన వాటి రూపంలో చెడు మానవుడిని ప్రలోభపెడుతుంది. అయితే, గోధుమలు మరియు కలుపుమొక్కలు కలిసి పెరుగుతాయి మరియు పంటలను సేకరించేవరకు అవి గుర్తించబడవు. అదేవిధంగా ప్రపంచంలో మంచివ్యక్తులు (దేవునిబిడ్డలుగా) మరియు చెడ్డవ్యక్తులు (చెడుబిడ్డలుగా) కలిసిజీవిస్తారు.  తుది తీర్పు వరకు ఏది మంచి మరియు చెడు అనేది గ్రహించబడదు.

విత్తువాడు చివరి వరకు ఓపికపట్టి. గోధుమలు మరియు కలుపుమొక్కలను వేరుచేస్తాడు. అలాగే దేవుడు కూడా చాలా ఓపికగా ఉంటాడు, చెడ్డ వ్యక్తులు మంచి వారిగా మారాలని ఎదురుచూస్తాడు. మరియు తీర్పు రోజున అతను మంచి మరియు చెడులను వేరుచేస్తాడు. మంచి వ్యక్తులు దేవునిబిడ్డలుగా అవుతారు మరియు వారు పరలోక రాజ్యాన్ని వారసత్వంగా పొందుతారు. మరియు చెడుప్రజలు చెడుబిడ్డలుగా,  నిత్య నరకాగ్ని వారికి వారసత్వంగా ఉంటుంది.

ఈ ఉపమానం దేవుని సహనాన్ని మరియు దీర్ఘశాంతాన్ని నొక్కి చెబుతుంది, ఎందుకంటే అతను గోధుమలు మరియు కలుపు మొక్కలను రెండింటినీ పంట వరకు కలిసి పెరగడానికి అనుమతించాడు, ఇది చివరి తీర్పు  మరియు పశ్చాత్తాపానికి ప్రతీక.

ఎదుగుదల మరియు ఫలవంతం: విశ్వాసుల జీవితాల్లో ఆధ్యాత్మిక వృద్ధి మరియు ఫలవంతమైన ప్రాముఖ్యతను ఈ ఉపమానం వివరిస్తుంది.ఇది గోధుమల ద్వారా ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహిస్తుంది, నిజమైన విశ్వాసం మరియు నీతివంతమైన జీవనం యొక్క అవసరాన్ని నొక్కి చెబుతుంది.

రెండవ ఉపమానం ధ్యానించి నట్లయితే, దేవుని రాజ్యం ఆవగింజలాంటి దని, అది ఒకపెద్ద చెట్టుగా మారి ఆకాశ  పక్షులకు ఆశ్రయం అవుతుంది. క్రైస్తవమతం యొక్క విశ్వాసం ప్రారంభంలో చిన్నదికావచ్చు కానీ తరువాత అది పెరుగుతుంది మరియు అనేక మంది ప్రజలు, సంస్కృతులు మరియు దేశాలు, దేవుని ప్రేమను అర్థం చేసుకొని, దేవుని రాజ్యం మనం ఊహించిన దానికంటే భిన్నమైనదని గ్రహిస్తారు.దేవుని రాజ్యం దయ మరియు కరుణతో నిండి ఉంది అని గ్రహిస్తారు.

మనం నిద్రలో ఉన్నప్పుడు అంటే అజాగ్రత్తతో ఉంటె శత్రువు ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగానే నాశనం చేయడానికి వచ్చి పొలంలో కలుపు మొక్కలను చల్లుతారు. అంటే మనం మెలుకువగా ఉండాలి లేదా మన చుట్టూ ఉన్నచెడు గురించి జాగ్రత్తలు, తెలుసుకోవాలి. పునీత పేతురు గారు తన లేఖలలో “నిబ్బరమైన బుద్ధిగల వారై మెలకువగా ఉండుడి; మీ విరోధియైన అపవాది గర్జించు సింహము వలె ఎవరిని మింగుదునా అని వెదకుచు తిరుగుచున్నాడు.” (1పేతురు 5:8).

కాబట్టి ఈ ఉపమానం మనలను ప్రార్థనలో అవగాహన కలిగి ఉండాలని బోధిస్తుంది. విఫలమవ్వకుండా, నిత్యమూ ప్రార్థన చెయ్యమని, కోరుతున్నాడు. ఎందుకంటే సాతాను మనవెంటే పొంచి ఉంటుంది.

మూడవ ఉపమానం ద్వారా మనందరం కూడా పులిసిన పిండి వలె ఉండమని , మనం కుటుంబాల్లో మరియు సమాజాలలో, దేవుని ప్రేమ మరియు దయను వ్యాప్తిచేయడం లేదా ఇతరులకు మంచితనాన్ని పంచుకోవడంలో పులిసిన పిండిలాగా ఉండాలి. మనం కూడా భూమిపై దేవుని రాజ్యాన్ని విస్తరింపచేయాలని ఈమూడుపఠనాలు మనల్నికోరుతున్నాయి.

 

 

SISXTEENTH ORDINARY SUNDAY

Wisdom 12:13,16-19, Romans 8:26-27, Matthew 13:24-43

First Reading: God has shown himself to be a God of justice and mercy.

Committing sin and mistake again and again is humanness, being merciful and forgiving is Godhood (divineness or godliness).

The first reading explains that, God is just and a merciful father, he treats every one equally. He provides all of us with the opportunity to be saved. And when some one doubts the power of God, god's power is shown to the people in different ways. God has the power or authority to condemn, but he still bears us patiently.

Vs. 19. we, see god waits for his people to repent and he forgives them. So also God desires his good people to forgive one another as he did. He desires his people live in righteous ness. He invites us to possess the qualities of God like mercy and forgiveness.

Those who do good are the children of God and those who do bad are the children of Evil.

Therefore God ask us to be his good children.

 

Responsorial Psalm:

Psalm 86:5-6,9-10,15-16 :  It is A prayer to God for mercy.

 

Second Reading : The Spirit intercedes for us with God.

By nature human beings are  fragile, weak, fall towards sin easily. Because we often fall in to the trap of sin, we fail to love our brethren, we fail to forgive others, we fail to be merciful towards the other in their need.

But st. Paul says that the spirit comes to aid and do the needful to all those are week . The spirit is within us, appealing to the Father on our behalf and enables us to call God Abba Father. Therefore Paul tells  that as humans we do struggle against the flesh, with our desires and selfish attitudes.  The spirit indeed groans within us as we pray to our Father through Jesus.  And God the Father answers us or grants us what ever we ask in prayer through Jesus Christ.

Gospel

This gospel reading is a continuation of the last Sunday’s  Jesus’ discourse to the crowds and disciples .

In today’s Gospel, Jesus speaks three parables to explain about the Kingdom of Heaven. He also explains why he speaks to the crowds in parables and interprets the parable of the sower for the disciples. In three parables the common concept is “the Kingdom of Heaven”. The first parable speaks that the Kingdom of Heaven is compared to the sower (God). And land is compared to the world, and the good seeds are compared to the wheat(children of God) and the  bad seeds are compared to the weeds(children of evil). the enemy is (evil).

Here, did the sower sow the weeds?

No. But an enemy has done that out of jealousy.

Did God create bad people?

No. But it is evil who tempts the people, or attracts the people, by projecting as though it is good.

Why do people tend towards evil, because

-evil is tasty

-evil tempts

-evil attracts

-evil pretends to be good.

The evil tempts human, in the form of pleasures, power, riches or wealth, etc.

However, the wheat and weeds grow together and they will not be realized till the time of collecting the crops. Same way the good people (children of God) and bad people (children of evil) live together in the world. And will not be realized what is good and evil until the final judgment.

The sower is patient enough till the end. To separate wheat and weeds. So also God is so patient he waits for bad people to become good. And on the day of judgement he separates good and the bad. The good people become the children of God, and they inherit the kingdom of heaven. And the bad people children of evil, will inherit the eternal fire.

The second parable explains to us that kingdom of God is like mustard seed, which becomes a huge tree and becomes a shelter for the birds of the air. Beginning the faith of Christianity may be  small but later it increases and many people, cultures, and nations, reflecting God’s plan for the people will realize that god’s Kingdome is something different than what we expect and imagine. In Gods kingdom full of mercy and compassion.

Purposely the enemy comes to destroy while we are in asleep and sows the weeds in the field. That means we must be awake, or be aware of the evil that is around us. As st. Peter said in his letters “Discipline yourselves, keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour” (1Peter 5:8).

So this parable teaches us to be perciver in our prayer. With out failing becaue the devil may miss guide us.

The third parable teaches us that we must be like yeast, in the families and in the societies, spreading God’s love and mercy or sharing goodness to other.We also should expand God’s kingdome on earth.
